Grand Canyon Airlines minimum requirements for pilots are as follows:

Grand Canyon Airlines utilizes the FAR Part I – Definitions and Abbreviations to define pilot-in-command (PIC) time:

PIC means the person who:

Has final authority and responsibility for the operation and safety of the flight;

Has been designated as PIC before or during the flight; and

Holds the appropriate category, class, and type rating, if appropriate, for the conduct of the flight.

In keeping with Grand Canyon Airlines drug testing policy designed to provide a drug free workplace, applicants will be subject to pre-employment drug testing. Additionally, Grand Canyon Airlines fully supports the FAA regulation requiring drug testing of personnel in safety and security related positions. The substances included for testing are: Marijuana, Cocaine, Opiates, Phencyclidine (PCP), and Amphetamines. In compliance with the FAA regulations, testing for alcohol is included in our testing procedures.
